Over 200 people attended the 2nd annual Mow Down ALS community partner event recently at Caesar’s Creek Speedway in Wilmington Ohio. Sixty racing enthusiasts showed up from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
Team Krazy Chris was well represented as Tim Guy won the military race on behalf of the Army for Chris Kemp and Parker Close, grandson of Chris won the junior elite invitational race.
A race mower and mini bike were part of the many raffles offered. Over 1200 tickets were sold for the race mower and Jackie Ferguson lucky one who took it home. Tim Guy won the mini bike.
Many thanks to Dave Scharold, Cincinnati Mower Racing Association president and all who helped organize this unique and delightful event. Dave went above and beyond as he had his head and beard shaved! Dave auctioned off his beloved hair all in support of those fighting ALS. Be sure to check it out next year!
