Community Partner Events:A "Community Partner" fundraising event is defined by The ALS Association as any fund-raising conducted by an individual or group where The ALS Association has no fiduciary responsibilities and little or no staff involvement. Individuals, groups, small businesses and corporations interested in hosting a fund-raising event to benefit The ALS Association Central & Southern Ohio Chapter are encouraged to complete a Community Partner Event Application. What must I do to hold a Community Partner Event?The ALS Association Central & Southern Ohio Chapter asks that you complete a Community Partner Event Application. Click here to download a copy. After the application has been received, a Chapter staff member will contact you regarding your event. Click here for a list of simple guidelines for hosting a Community Partner Event. |
Where does the money go?All of the revenue from Community Partner Events benefits The ALS Association Central & Southern Ohio Chapter, dedicated to leading the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy while also empowering people with Lou Gehrig’s Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support. No donation amount is too small. |
