March 4th of 2020 our wife, mother and friend was officially diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
ALS is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
We are walking to raise money for awareness and to find a cure for this devastating disease. Our goal is to raise enough money to help not just her but to help all the wonderful people who live and die with this disease.
Please help us reach our goal and help stop the progression of ALS.
