Thank you, Thank you to all of Team Dysinger!!! In 2016, Team Dysinger donated over $21,000 to the ALS Association! Including the matching grant from the Lawrence and Isabel Barnett Charitable Foundation, our Team contributed just under $24,000!!! Let's see if we can't raise $25,000+ in 2017 to help fund improved treatments and hopefully find a cure!
Dear Friends and Family,
If you are reading, you are probably aware of the ALS diagnosis Doris Dysinger received in August 2015. With that, those who know Doris will know that she hasn’t let this bring her down. She is taking each day in stride with a smile on her face and living to enjoy each moment that she is given. She has a miraculous strength. At the age of 23, Doris was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis while pregnant with her second child. Even then, she was determined to not let it change the way she was going to live her life. She pushed through the pain every day and was determined to give all three of her boys a great childhood and quality life. Family has always been a huge priority to Doris and she loves spending time with them at their home away from home on Norris Lake in Tennessee.
In support of Doris, we are forming a team to participate in the “Walk to Defeat ALS” fundraising event. Through this event we will raise funds for research on ALS, the care for those who have been diagnosed and the hope for a cure. Together we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Our team is committed to raising money to support people in our community with ALS and spread awareness of the urgency to find treatment and a cure. Please consider joining our team in the Walk to Defeat ALS® or choose a team member from the list and donate to our cause.
